Below are the Athens Area Community Foundation scholarship applications and descriptions for Athens High School graduating seniors.   Please submit a typewritten application, using only black ink, to your high school counselor no later than Tuesday, March 1, with each question answered to the best of your ability.

A number of scholarships are available to Athens graduating seniors through the Battle Creek Community Foundation if you meet the criteria listed.  Please read each description carefully, as the criteria for each scholarship is different.  Applications will be available through their web site by March 1, 2011:  www.bccfoundation.org//scholarships/ and due no later than May 1, 2011.

ADULT SCHOLARSHIPS

A number of adult scholarships are also available to Athens area residents through the Battle Creek Community Foundation if you meet the criteria listed.  Please read each description for eligibility carefully, as the criteria for each scholarship is different.  Applications will be available through their web site: www.bccfoundation.org//scholarships/ by March 1, 2011, and due no later than May 1, 2011.

 
COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ALLIANCE OF CALHOUN COUNTY

The Community Foundation Alliance of Calhoun County Scholarship provides scholarships to nontraditional students who reside within Calhoun County.  Eligibility is for adults who have not been enrolled in any full-time educational program for at least six months prior to the application deadline and are in need of additional education and/or technical training to enhance current employment status and/or employability.  Previous scholarship recipients are welcome to re-apply.  Applications are due by Friday, April 30, 2011.  Applications are available at www.cfa-cc.org or by calling 517-568-5222.
